The "Corrosion Doctor" is an ultrasonic diagnostic device that qualitatively and easily examines the extent of corrosion damage at the pavement boundary (around GL-40mm) of road accessories (such as steel signposts and lighting poles). Using SH wave transducers and analysis software, it can diagnose whether the condition is corroded or sound without excavating the pavement boundary.
